I am a husband and father, follower of Jesus.
This is the biggest challenge of my life, for one I've not ever been on a plane longer than about 40 minutes, I hate hot weather, the sun is my worst enemy.
Iv been overweight for quite a few years and have never run any kind of race before, but have started my training and am starting to enjoy. This is such a huge challenge for me, so if you would like to help support me on achieving something I never thought possible and raising money for such an important cause, that would be amazing.
I will be spending 8 days in Rwanda, Africa with the children, spending time in the church's school and different areas that Compassion work with. I can't wait to spend this time with the children and seeing what a poistive affect this money raised has on their lives.
Although my life has had it's challenge, I have never witnessed any kind of real poverty so this is going to be a real eye opener for me and look forward to sharing my experience with you all when I get back.
