My Challenge:

This year I have set myself several major challenges. It all starts in March 2019 when I do a 3 night endurance event round Kielder Water. This is 3 runs on consecutive nights. First night 10 miles, second night 26.2 miles followed by 14.5 miles on the last night.

In April 2019 I am doing a full marathon in Madrid.

In June 2019 I am doing Swaledale marathon.

I finally finish with the ultimate challenge a full marathon in Rwanda, which is also in June 2019

My name is James and I am 57 years old. I live in the Northeast of England and am married to my beautiful wife Angela. I am part of Xcel Church, where I am a member of the children's ministry. I have been a member of Shildon Running Club for about 4 years. I have completed numerous 5K, 10K and Half marathon races. I have also completed 2 full marathons.


I am taking part in this challenge because I want to see many life's changed. I have a passion to go to Africa and to make a difference to as many people as possible.
