Challenger Profile

I've worked in International development for the last 15 years, setting up programs in Africa and Asia, and I know that education is a key route out of poverty. I also know people often think the little they have to give may not make a difference. From my experience however, I know that together, our little bits can make a huge difference in changing the trajectory of a child.

I have a milestone birthday in 2020 and I wanted to do something to help give hope to children living in poverty. This challenge is definitely outside my comfort zone, but raising money for a good cause is a worthwhile endeavour to celebrate. I admire the work of Compassion, and I have sponsored a child through Compassion for a few years now. I would love to give my friends and other people who may be interested an opportunity to either sponsor a child or give towards the life changing work of Compassion.
