This May I will be making a trip to Rwanda to meet Abayisenga, whom I’ve been sponsoring for over 8 years to date through Compassion. She is such a blessing and a treasure, and I am thoroughly excited to meet her in person for the first time! She's grown to become a beautiful 14 year old girl, who enjoys school and loves to sing in the choir, which she has shared through precious letters and photos we’ve exchanged over the years.
My trip will also entail a half marathon in the region to raise funds through Compassion, which does an amazing work in improving the lives of children in poverty worldwide.
