10 years ago York held its very first 10K run and my amazing dad took part (and smashed it at the age of 58!). At the start of this year I had the crazy idea of running in his memory.
Following David’s trip to Uganda in March having seen the impact on children families and communities through the work of Compassion I have decided to try and raise a few pounds for them.
Compassion are currently raising money for a Child Survival Program in Uganda, this is supporting mothers and babies in Uganda in the first few months of life. It will help to provide essential pre and post natal support for these mothers giving them the best start tin life.
Please support in any way you can, even one or two pounds will make a difference (and help me to cross the finish line!!!).
