As a parent of 4 ( now grown up children) and I know what a challenge it can be nurturing offspring on a limited but reasonable budget. It is so much harder to raise children when faced with the stresses and strains of grinding poverty.
I am not used to longer distance running but have felt inspired to do this challenge for Compassion, a Christ centred , child focused, church based charity, which has been improving the lives of families for over 50 years.
Life is short but you can make a difference- any amount you can give is welcome!
Compassion on this occasion are seeking to raise money for the building of Rwandan safe houses for mothers and babies coming through Compassion’s child survival programme. This is providing families living in poverty the best possible start in life.
