My children and I have sponsored a boy called Armando in the Philippines for about 10 years now and have found it a privilege to follow him as he has grown and progressed through school and his Compassion project.
I want to do something positive, challenging, fruitful and right out of my comfort zone! I am really excited about meeting our sponsored boy during the trip, talking to him face-to-face about his hopes and plans, and seeing for myself the impact that sponsoring children can have on the lives of families in poverty.
