As a family we covered 135km for our Ethiopia challenge in Mid Wales in 2020. Jeff my husband completed a 63km walk, I ran the marathon and our three children Caleb, Sophie & Leon all did their 10km. This year I really want to take part in the iconic London Marathon, run a better time than 4.40 and raise more money than last year.

I am taking part in the London Marathon 2021. Training in Mid Wales is a tough environment with endless hills and long lonely lanes. It is a perfect training ground for London ! Our family all box and we train in our gym here at our guest house. We believe that we can all do more than we ever thought we could if we put our minds to it and put the effort in. We have great friends here who we love to train with, cycle with, run with and that's what makes it fun. We'd never have completed the challenge last year without them, Jeff ran the London Marathon in 1993. I guess it's my turn now. I'm so excited to be part of the Compassion Team this year.
Compassion is an incredible charity and a truly God-given inspired vision to change the lives of children, their families and the entire village by meeting their practical needs such as education and housing but also sharing with them the life changing message of the love of Jesus. We have sponsored Yewulsew in Ethiopia through Compassion to give her a future and a hope free from poverty. We will meet her one day. Until then, we are honoured to help contribute to Compassions wonderful work across the world in over 24 countries. Another great team of great friends worldwide.
