My Challenge:
I am going the extra mile and running a half marathon (21 km) in Uganda in 27 degree heat!
I am off to run in the Muscathalon (half marathon) event in Uganda this May, for Respond with Compassion. This project aims to install solar panels at four child development centres in the South-West region of Uganda. This is to facilitate the uninterrupted and consistent education of hundreds of children in the region.

I am a mum of two boys, recently retired, and looking to make a difference while having an adventure at the same time.
In 2009, I began to sponsor a child in Uganda after hearing about Compassion UK at my church Hillsong London.
Two years ago, I heard of the Muskathlon challenge in Uganda and felt compelled to be part of this amazing challenge to make a difference. While also, using this opportunity to connect with my Compassion sponsor child who lives in Uganda.
