We are a group of runners from a church local to Hackney, wanting to take part in this event and raise awareness for Compassion UK and the great work that they do.
We are running the Hackney Half Marathon to raise the funds to sponsor as many children as possible through Compassion UK. We are hoping to raise enough to sponsor at least 5 children for one year, and we hope our efforts will raise awareness in our local community as we take part in this event.
