My Challenge:
I am running for those children and families in Kenya who need help. I have seen first hand in Uganda and Rwanda the amazing work that Compassion does, working tirelessly to give every child a purposeful and fulfilling life through their health, education and care programmes. Running this marathon in an extreme location with 4MUK (4muk.com) and asking people to sponsor these children, as well as to donate money is a way I can play my part and involve others too. Together we can make such a difference.

I have some great men in my life, my husband, my 3 boys and a lot of gorgeous women...my 7 hens! I love food, zumba and a 'jobs' list!
I am relatively new at all this marathon running stuff and honestly, I don't do it because I love it, I am not one of these people who 'enjoys' a marathon but doing this really costs me in time, in effort and in body pain and reminds me that the discomfort I may feel is very little compared to the lives of those I am running for.
