Hi I'm Maryanne a believer in and runner for Jesus Christ.
I joined the half marathon with CompassionUK in 2018 in Kenya and was impacted by the immense work that Compassion do for children and families. In 2020, I want to challenge myself to run the full marathon (42km). I have always dreamnt of running in Philippines, my country, and thought this is it- an answered prayer. For me it's an honour and a joy to be able to run with and for my people. In the words of Pastor Ferdie Cabiling in his book 'Run': I run as a response to God' s love, grace and patience. I run for those who can't run for themselves.
