My Challenge:
Ultra-Marathon (63km)
I am acutely aware that this will be far from a walk in the park! But for the children who i'm running for, who's circumstances are far tougher than mine, I see they are worth the stretch. I'm hanging onto who these children can be and how far they can go in life if I do this run. I plan to go far with them, by doing this Ulta-Marathon.
My challenge is twofold: to rescue 10 children from poverty by finding 10 heroes who would be willing to become sponsors and be the change in a child's life; and two, to raise £3900 (it doesn't have to be this but it's my aim) with your support to help families in rural Kenya get cleaner safer energy. It is a big aim but with your help, we can do this!
All funds raised through the Muskathlon will provide much needed solar powered lights for Kenyans, replacing the use of hazardous Kerosene lamps. The cost of one solar powered light is £62. I reckon we could brighten up a Kenyans day, future, story - what'd ya say? I'm looking to raise £3900 which would provide 63 Kenyans with these heart warming lights. Why 63? I would like to provide a Kenyan family with a solar light for every km that I manage to run. If I manage to run all 63km, then we could bless 63 Kenyans! With your help and generosity, we can make a difference. No matter the contribution, I am truly grateful for you all.

On a personal level, choosing to sponsor a child has changed my life and given me a whole new perspective I didn't have before. You make a real impact to that child in a personal way...and they will remember you forever! I sponsor 2 children myself and it is a blessing beyond words can describe.
