Me (Rachel) and my coach (Darren) are taking on the challenge of running the 10 miles of the Great South Run. Hoping to keep up with Darren's long legs!

We have been married 7 years and now have a little girl called Evalyn who is growing up quick! Evalyn comes on the training runs and is the best source of encouragement for mummy! She is a bit more gentle in her coaching strategy than daddy.
We're raising money for the Child Survival Program which works with mums and dads right from pregnancy to newborn babies.

Darren has seen first hand the difference that this makes to the families and can't stop talking about it!
We're constantly reminded of the privilege it is to have a baby in the country and the support on offer. To be able to run to allow those in vulnerable circumstances a chance to have more than they can imagine is so worth it.
This is a massive stretch for Rachel who would never have imagined she could run this far!
