A Bit About Me
My love of running comes from my Dad. He encouraged me through school cross-country championships and on into half marathons as I left school and went to university. He showed me what it is to enjoy doing something even when it's a challenge.
I'm a website designer and developer based in Whitby, North Yorkshire and love living in this part of the country, raising a busy family and ejoying the great outdoors.
Why am I Running for Compassion?
I'm a father of four and have been a supporter of Compassion for a number of years. They do an amazing job and it's great to know that so many children around the world are supported and lifted out of poverty through their work.
I can't imagine how difficult life must be for families around the world who lack basic necessities - sanitation, education, healthcare and so on. Running for Compassion gives me an opportunity to channel some much needed money to those who need it most.
