I have recently started walking regularly and I totally enjoy it. I set myself a goal to walk 10000 steps daily. I took it a step further with the help of my personal trainer and with support from my daughter.
On Friday 02 April 2021, taking one step at a time we covered 55,393 steps i.e. 36 km Thames Path walk from Erith to North Greenwich and back.
It was a great achievement and I thank God for strength and grace to start and complete.
I have planned another Thames path walk on 29 May 2021 to raise funds to support the good work that Compassion UK is doing. I already sponsor a child in Ethiopia via Compassion UK since 2013 and every year itβs delightful to see the transformation. Giving a bit more will go a long way in helping to tackle poverty in children; and helping those in need.
The challenge was successfully completed on 29 May 2021 by Godβs Grace. 38,578 steps @25.7km β
