My Challenge:
On Sunday 2nd October I will be running the London Marathon for Compassion, which is a charity that has always been close to my heart.
I have seen first hand the amazing provision and life changing support and inspiration the Compassion teams seek to daily give to children and their families.
All the proceeds will go towards a much needed intervention programme in Kenya which will provide the care, support and environment which will give life changing support to mothers and their newborn babies. It will literally give them a future and a hope.
It would literally mean the world to children and their families who are in huge need of the support, love and financial support you could give.

I'm running the London Marathon 2022 for Compassion.
I am passionate about seeking to reach out and support those who need it the most.
I want to challenge myself and others to be the best we can possibly be.
I have only run a route which is marathon distance once before - never in a race like London, which has always been a dream race for me to fulfil.
Running has been a huge part of helping me overcome mental health challenges and it has consistently been a big motivation to keep persevering and challenging myself.
I believe we need to support and champion ministries like Compassion for the life changing work they do daily.
Compassion is a charity whose work is a life and game changer for children and families who are left with no hope and no opportunity to dream.
If I can help further their vision through fundraising and help widen and spread their work a bit more too then that would be amazing!
We can all help even if for one child. 'Changing one life at a time' really is a powerful vision I want to support and be a part of.
