I have entered a sprint triathlon for Compassion UK.
I have not competed in a triathlon event before and look forward to the challenge.
I have always enjoyed outdoor activities and since I retired I have been looking for an opportunity like this, to raise money for Compassion UK.
My wife and I have been supporters of Compassion UK for many years.
We currently sponsor two children through Compassion.
I am pleased to be able to play a small part in fund raising for Compassion in order to help two specific Compassion projects.
I am hoping to raise £870 to benefit two Compassion Project centres : one in Bangladesh and one in Kenya.
In Bangladesh they have a need to have a computer to enable their students in further education to complete their courses.
The Kenyan Project is undergoing some construction work to extend their office as they need more space. This will allow them to work more efficiently which will bless all the children at the project.
