I'm running the 2023 London Marathon in aid of Compassion UK.
Compassion UK is a fantastic charity that helps to improve lives in developing countries through child sponsorship. Our family sponsors a child in Togo so, through our correspondence with him, we get to see some of the amazing work that Compassion do through their local partners there.
My sponsorship will go towards a child survival project in Togo, helping pregnant mothers and their babies before, during and after giving birth.
The London Marathon is an iconic race, notoriously difficult to get a place in, so I'm really excited to be able to run it this year in aid of Compassion UK!
