I was introduced to Compassion early last year. After speaking to my Mum about the children she has sponsored for ~20 years, I was moved to tears when I went on the site and saw all of the children in need.
I immediately began sponsoring children myself. Later in the year when I watched the marathon, I immediately signed up. I missed a place via the ballot and decided to apply for one charity who I felt closest to. Fortunately Compassion included me in their team and I'm super proud to be representing the charity
