My Challenge:
I am honored to be running the 2024 London Marathon in support of Compassion's work in Ethiopia. As part of the Compassion UK marathon team, we are raising funds to provide resources to caregivers of Compassion-supported children in eastern Ethiopia. Like all of us, they desire to provide for their children, but they are living in extremely difficult circumstances in which their income sources are unreliable.
They need support to provide the life they want for their children. Together, we can provide that support. The money you donate will go to helping provide the caregivers with start-up funds and training to start their own small businesses and develop a sustainable source of income for themselves.
Compassion Ethiopia have designed an initiative that will transform lives. What we need to do now, is make it happen.

Hi everyone, my name is Dwayne and I live in Colorado with my wife Sarah and our two children, Charlie and Sadie. I have been working with Compassion for four years and have sponsored children through the ministry since 2016. My family and I currently sponsor three children, Donald in Peru and Erick and Valeria in El Salvador.
I'm thrilled to be using my passion for running to help support Compassion's work in Ethiopia. Having been on a number of trips with Compassion, I know the impact of your support, no matter the amount, will make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.
