I am significantly older than when I ran my last (and first!) half marathon in Windsor in my early 30s... several years and 2 children later and the training is harder than it was then - can’t think why?!
I am raising funds for a Compassion project in Burkina Faso, Western Africa. Our family have sponsored Viviane (pictured), a girl aged 9 (the same age as our daughter Kirsten), who lives in Burkina Faso for 5 years. Through Compassion we write to Viviane and our sponsorship enables her to attend school, have regular health/dental checks and attend a weekly project. I would like to raise funds for the project which Viviane attends, to benefit both Viviane, her family and other children/families who attend the project.
