My name is Bethan and I'm married to Andy. We pastor Riverside Vineyard Church in Feltham and we live in West London. We have two children - Ruth (19) is studying at the University of Nottingham and Jamie (17) is studying for his A levels. I combine working part time for the church with a passion for gardening. We have a couple of allotments of our own, I manage an allotment project for our food bank and I volunteer for the education team at RHS Wisley.
2018 is my 50th year, so I want to do something significant to mark it that challenges me and helps others, so climbing Kilimanjaro with Compassion ticked all the boxes for me! We support a child in Peru through Compassion and a few years ago, we visited some Compassion projects in India & saw first hand the difference that they made.
So would you help me reach my fundraising target so that families in poverty in Tanzania can have improved facilities in their community?
