On Sunday 21st of October I will take part in the Great South Run in Portsmouth for Compassion UK Charity, joining a movement to release children from poverty.
Compassion is a Christian charity passionate about empowering all children to overcome the obstacles poverty put in their way. They focus on one child at a time, linking them with one sponsor who releases them from poverty.
I first heard about the work Compassion is doing many years ago while attending a service at Hillsong Church London. I was so moved by the positive impact the charity made in the lives of the children and their families that I decided to get involved straightaway by sponsoring a child and also volunteering at several events.
Why am I doing this?
I think more can be done and i want to let as many people as I can take take this opportunity to make a positive difference in someone’ Life. Hence I would like you to join me in this great cause either by sponsoring a compassion Child or with a one off donation.
