2021 was a significantly difficult year for me. After losing both parents to cancer within 6 months of each other, I then contracted COVID-19 which aggravated my existing Crohns disease. This left me admitted to hospital with a major internal bleed.

I then spent most of 2022 trying to rebuild myself both emotionally and physically. Running London Marathon for Compassion in 2023 helped me on my journey of recovery by enabling me to demonstrate that it really is possible to overcome adversity and rebuild to be both better and stronger than before.

Two years on and I am now thrilled to be undertaking a second Marathon in aid of Compassion. As a charity, Compassion has been a very important part of our family life for several years, with us currently sponsoring 3 children in Haiti, Brazil and Ethiopia.

If you are able to support me in any way, you would be making a HUGE difference to the lives of children and young people by helping to release them from poverty and giving them the opportunity to live a life they thoroughly deserve.

Thank you xx
