The Child Survival intervention at Namabasa Child Development Centre in Mbale, Uganda, is a lifeline for mothers and their babies. This year-long intervention addresses critical issues such as malnutrition, illiteracy, and low income by providing essential support and education. Mothers learn the importance of exclusive breastfeeding, gain vital reading and writing skills, and receive training in income-generating activities. Additionally, they benefit from nutritional support, home visits from trained staff, and access to crucial medical care. By funding this intervention, we can ensure that 15 mothers and their babies not only survive but thrive, giving babies a strong start in life and empowering mothers to take control of their futures. Your support will help us raise £13,555 to sustain this programme for another year, making a profound difference in the lives of these families.
