I was born in Brazil, where there's a lot of poverty. Seeing children deprived of education, food, sanitation or even safety is heart breaking. If it doesn't move you, I don't know what could. So I'm moving - by running my first even marathon and raising funds for Compassion UK.
I've done a fair number of triathlons and even some half marathons - but a full 26 mile run is a completely new (and bigger/scarier) challenge to me.
