Challenger Profile

Name:

Unleashed Mens Conference .

Challenge Date:

18th October 2025

My Challenge:

Your support could see children go from one meal a day to three, and

help families to regain strength and stability. Providing food for just two

months can prevent families from selling their businesses and

belongings to survive. It gives them breathing room to rebuild their

livelihoods and care for their children with dignity.

Unleashed 2025 is aiming to raise funds for Compassion UK towards Emergency Food Relief

Tigray, Ethiopia

Right now, families in Tigray, Ethiopia are facing a devastating food

crisis. Children are going to bed hungry, parents are selling their last

possessions to survive, and many are dying from the famine.

The cost of living in Tigray has doubled since the recent civil war (2020-

2022) and the withdrawal of humanitarian aid has left millions starving

and displaced. In the town of Axum alone, eight people have died from

starvation in the past three months.

One in six children under the age of five are acutely malnourished, and

the Acute Malnutrition rate has reached 22.3%, far above the emergency

threshold of 15%.The situation is dire, and the need is urgent.
