I'm a husband and father of four kids aged from 22 through to 13. I live in lovely West Sussex and work in not quite so lovely central London.

As a family we sponsor 3 kids through Compassion and are always in awe of the work they do...

I've been fortunate enough to have done quite a bit of travelling and have seen extreme poverty on number of occasions. I'm always amazed at how what seems like a small amount of money to us can make a big difference to others.

So, primarily I'm doing this to hopeful make a big difference but at the same time have a goal to lose weight / get fit (always need a goal..).

The icing on the cake is that I'll also get to meet one of my sponsored kids who lives in Rwanda.
