Wow...really?!
That's how more than one person has responded when I told them I was doing this. I'm not an adventure kind of guy, I'm from a city where the highest hill is the railway bridge and I'm writing this now, rather than going outside, because it's a bit cold. You may also be shocked to find out that my picture is photoshopped.
Some people might climb Kilimanjaro for fun, not me. I'm doing this because I really believe that Compassion do good things; I've sponsored a boy, Sheema, in Rwanda for nearly 3 years and compassion have made a huge impact on the quality of his life and that of his family. The money I raise will go entirely to the Compassion Leadership development programme - funding teenagers who have grown up in Compassion's child sponsorship programme through higher education. Check out what compassion do and give generously!

Simon enjoy the climb - even the tough parts - and especially the view from the summit.

Extra £50 on top of this if you provide an un-photoshopped picture of yourself wearing the better half of North London's kit at the summit ;)

Good luck to you - I hope the trip goes well! My cousin did the same climb and he was fairly chubby, so you'll find it a breeze.
