Power The Light - 48-hour bike challenge

Big Church Day Out is one of the biggest Christian events in the UK and as part of our involvement, we're looking for a team of 4-5 people to "power the light" for a total of 48 hours. We will have 2 bikes connected to a light that will be powered so long as the bikes are being pedaled. The idea is to keep at least one of these lights on across the whole weekend. Those on the team will take it in turns to do at least 2, 4 hours stints on the bike to ensure we are getting power to the light. We're seeking to raise vital funds to supply 6 Compassion projects in Uganda with solar panel lighting. This sustainable source of energy will enable children to excel in preparations for their future. 

DATE: 2nd - 4th June 2022 

LOCATION: BCDO, Wiston House, Steyning, BN44 3DZ

FUNDRAISING TARGET: Either £2,000 or 4 children sponsored or a combination of both (Where each child counts as £500 towards your target)
