Ethiopia 2023 walking/crawling the 42km in one day is the big event, but training for it is enough of a challenge as well tbh!!

Ageing fast, not active enough, but realised in my dotage that I needed to step up and set a big old challenge to myself, to do something very hard for the benefit of others.
So a decent length walk, at altitude should do it.
Doing it for an amazing charity, Compassion that helps so many kids/families, BUT ultimately in the service for the big man upstairs shining his glory into forgotten parts of the world, seemed the perfect combo.
Receiving letters from my sponsored child is heart warming but also gut wrenching when you realise how much help they need to get by day to day. Seeing the direct difference charities such as Compassion can make to them and their family while nurturing their spiritual health is what it is all about. So DIG deep PLEASE!! Thank you.
